Stop Procrastination: Take Action Now
Nov 02, 2025
The richest place in the world is the graveyard—where unwritten books, unbuilt businesses, and unstarted callings are quietly buried. Not because people lacked talent or resources—but because they never took action. Inactivity—not lack of resources—is the #1 threat to your success.

The real threat isn’t lack of resources — it’s inactivity
We blame money, timing, or tools. But the real thief is inactivity. Dreams rarely die in public; they fade in private—one delayed decision at a time.
Your dream only has to be big to you
Launching a neighborhood bakery can be as impactful as launching a rocket. What matters is obedience to the assignment on your life—your assignment.
What high performers confess in private
Every time I ask a room of achievers to close their eyes and raise a hand if they know they’re called for more—most hands go up. High performers feel the tension: there’s more in them, and it’s time to close the gap.
Two locks that keep you stuck
Lock #1: “I’m not qualified.”
That whisper is a lie. Start where you are. Build while you learn. Many who succeed long-term build around their current role before going all-in.
Lock #2: “I’ll start when it’s perfect.”
“Whoever watches the wind will not sow; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” (Ecclesiastes 11:4) Excellence matters. Perfection paralyzes.
Convergence: build from strength
Identify your gift clusters—the instincts you run toward. Use them to pull weaker areas forward. Pair hard tasks with strengths and habit-stack your way into momentum.
Action over averages: ship before you sleep
Early on, I recorded late at night, edited, rendered, and published by morning—not perfect, but consistent. Motion beats myth. Momentum compounds. Output creates opportunity.
Someone is waiting on the other side of your obedience… and ambition
A mentor once told me, “Someone is always waiting on the other side of your obedience.” Later, the Lord impressed this: “Someone is always waiting on the other side of your ambition.” Your action is about the people attached to your assignment.
